The Detroit Lions are Detroit's Football franchise in the NFL. Sporting Blue and Silver as their team colors, the Lions were trying to use colors that set them out from the rest. The Lions are the under achiever child out of the Detroit sports teams. The Lions are the only professional team in Detroit that doesn't have a championship(superbowl) in their respected game. And things have only gotten worse before better, in 2008 The Detroit Lions were the first team to ever go 0-16 in a regular season. And ever since then the team haven't really done anything too notable aside from a couple of playoff runs that all end in the first round. In 2024, The Detroit Lions would beat the LA Rams 24-23 in the NFC wild card round marking and end to a 32 year playoff win drought in Detroit.
Coming off a dramatic end to the 2025 season and just barely missing the playoffs. The Detroit Lions Fired their old OC and hired Drew Petzing who is a good choice for how Detroit's team is built around. Drew Petzing is most known for his palystyle being around a strong run game and developing Tight Ends. along with hiring Drew Petzing they also hired veteran TE Tyler Conklin and 2x Super Bowl winner RB Isiah Pachecho. After taking care of their OC problem, they had to address the giant problem that was our Offensive line. They started by getting a young Center from Carolina named Cade Mays. He is a great player who in the 2025 season didn't allow a single sack in over 726 snaps. They also signed Tackle Larry Borom and they also traded their old FB David Montgomery for OL Juice Scruggs. Now that we have a reliable O-line the biggest issues the Detroit Lions have the 2026 season is looking good.
