The Detroit Red wings is Detroit's Franchise in the NHL. The History of the team is quite remarkable in and of itself. They have the most stanley cups out of any american based team in the NHL. The years they won the Stnaley cup are as followed: 1936, 1937, 1943, 1950, 1952, 1954, 1955, 1997, 1998, 2002, 2008. Although its been 18 years since the Redwings have won a stanley cup, Fans are hopeful that it will change in the coming years as the team brings on young new talent. The Red Wings also play Little Caesars located in Downtown Detroit.
The Red Wings Primary color is Red with a secondary color of white, making their uniforms really flashy and attention grabbing. Now it may be a bit biased as I am a Red Wings fan. But when I'm watching the Red Wings play compared to a different team, it's easier to watch them because of the colors. After reading this, if you ever watch a Red Wings game try and remember to what I said and notice that because of their uniforms they pop out at you like a sore thumb. If you're looking for a good night, i personally recommend taking a trip down to Little Caesars Arena and watching the Red Wings play a game.
